Why Kdramas?

Why not! I use to live in Korea as a teen and was re-introduce back to the Kdrama world in 2007. Thanks to a friend, conversation, YouTube, and Kpop, my obsession was born. I like the format of Korean TV shows; especially one and done seasons. I love the soundtracks and the dramatic recipe Kdrama use to portray the story or main idea of the show.

What else?

I am married; no children yet. I am a proud pet parent of two wonderful cats; Oliver P. Jenkins and Lil Z. I was a military brat; grew up around the world and on the East Coast. I am a huge BSB (Backstreet Boys) and BTS fan. See them each at least 5 times. My favorite food is ice cream. Yep. And Thai Basil Fried Rice.

What You Do?

I am currently a Behavioral Specialist that works with mental health clients. I enjoy my work and have been in this career since 2014. Prior to that I worked in hospitality, mainly hotels (jobs that support me while going to school). I love working in mental health or social work. I am currently working towards being a Life Coach which is my ultimate goal. Helping people is my game!

The name of you site? Why?

Micktabulous. Of course with an obsessive personality I go big or go home. Prior to Kdramas/Kpop, I was and still am obsessive with Mickey Mouse (just kpop and kdrama’s have taken space where Mickey sat). So, with the love I have with Mickey Mouse plus with being fabulous (or think I am) I came up with the name Micktabulous. Long yes. Different yes. Unique YES. It describes me to a tee!
