Lee Kwang Soo is Leaving Hit Korean Variety Show Running Man After 11 Years | Tatler Singapore

Well. I just saw an article confirming that Lee Kwang Soo, aka “Prince of Asia” or “Giraffe” is leaving “Running Man” after 11 years. Kwang Soo was an original member of the show and has been on the show since 2010. Based on the article he is leaving due to his physical well being. Lee Kwang Soo was in a car accident in April of 2020 to where he sustained a foot fracture. He took time off to heal; however, he still needs to have physical therapy for his foot. Filming a weekly or by weekly show plus doing movies or dramas he wasn’t able to keep up. He decided to let “Running Man” go.

I do not blame him for this decision. I do hope in the future he will come back as a guest. Not sure if they are going to replace him and it will be a different vibe without him on the show. Good Luck Lee Kwang Soo and thanks for making my weekends fun and happy.
